About Smith-Cadman Family Tree
Many thanks to David Kemp for sharing his family tree with me. Without his
tree I would never have known who Dora Abbott and her family were, nor who the
Granny Abbott of my childhood was. And many thanks to Mike Guess who provided
the Spenceley line and an awful lot of history of Middlesbrough and
surrounding areas. His website is linked below.
On the other side of the tree is my husband Don and his Smith surname. I have
to say thank you so, so much to Sue Oxerart who met with me, even though we
had never met before. She so kindly gave me a cd filled with pictues of her
parents, Don's family, and many of his grandparents. They are absolutely
priceless. They are all one of a kind art works of art. Sue also provided me
with the history of some of her relatives handed down by her mother Kathryn
who warmly wrote of them.
On the Busby side, my thanks go to the family of William Busby who suddenly
died on January 10, 2007. I met William through Threasa Busby. He and I had
corresponded for nearly a year and swapped genealogy info and also pictures of
the Morton family.
